Canoe Makes Engineering & Development Appointments

Canoe Ventures has announced the appointments of Kevin McHugh and Tom Huber to senior roles on its engineering and development team. They report to Christy Martin, VP solutions engineering at Canoe.

Huber, named executive director of system integration and test, will drive the end-to-end integration between Canoe Ventures, programmers and cable operators to ensure delivery of robust solutions into the market. Huber previously was a consultant at DigiForge and also worked for OpenTV, Intellocity, Koch Industries, and McGraw Hill School Systems.

McHugh, named executive director of interactive applications, is responsible for managing enhanced television application development and working with Canoe Ventures' partners to commercially deploy interactive advertising on a national scale. McHugh previously worked for Tandberg Television, IBM, and AT&T.
