CMC Signs Buckeye as iTV Beta Site

The Comcast Media Center has announced that Buckeye CableSystem has signed an agreement to serve as a beta site for advanced interactive TV applications that are being tested, launched and supported by HITS Advanced Interactive Services ("AxIS"). HITS AxIS operates on the National Authorization Service (NAS), which has been upgraded to support deployment of applications that use the current Enhanced Television-Binary Interchange Format (ETV EBIF) platform as well as the emerging tru2way platform.
